这篇帖子有趣之处在于巧妙利用英文里面一词多义的现象，搞出一些有意思的句子来。可以在开心中学到知识。
比如： The present is a good time to present the present. 这里用了三次“present”这个词。第一个是“目前”，第二次是“展示，呈现”，第三次是“礼物”的意思。全句意思是：“现在呈现礼物的好时候”。
为什么一个词有这么三种看似完全不一样的意思？我不知道，这个要问词源学家俞敏洪。他依据词源学编写的《红宝》，充满了这一类令你喜出望外的词汇解释。
英语啊英语，惹人爱，惹人恨。学来学去，我已经不再是我（或学成、或学残）；可是你却永远是你！（惹人爱，惹人恨）。
